LEKATO JA-05G Mini Electric Guitar Amp Review

If you’ve been reading this blog for some time now, you know that I’ve been using the K12 Bluetooth Karaoke Mini Speaker as my guitar amp.

It works but it does have its limitations.

I still have to turn on a lot of things just so I can get some decent guitar practice time on. I’ve been so tempted to buy the Enya Nova Go Sonic for a long time now for the simple purpose of having an electric guitar that I no longer have to plug into multiple things just to enjoy it.

And it seems like I may just have found the solution in the LEKATO JA-05G Mini Electric Guitar Amp.

The JA-05G is one of those tiny gadgets that promises to make your playing routine way more convenient.

It’s a 5-watt pocket-sized amp with built-in effects, Bluetooth audio playback, and a rechargeable battery—basically everything you need for on-the-go practice without hauling a full amp around.

Are these full amp-modeling effects?

Of course not.

But they give you enough variety to keep your practice sessions interesting, especially when you’re away from your main gear.

If you just want something straightforward for practice and portability, this little guy gets the job done.

I tried it paired with the Sonicake Pocket Master and with a little maneuvering, it fits. The only reason why it doesn’t normally fit is because my wireless guitar receiver unit from Ammoon also takes up too much space.

But it works just like the K12 speaker and now I can finally use the K12 for singing and not for playing guitar with.
