Anna Maria will be sorely missed.
One of the worst things about covering the underground scene is how quickly bands break up or disappear. Most reasons are petty. Small disputes, relationships & the lack of discipline are common reasons why.
And then there are some reasons that are way too big to ignore. Reasons like greed & deception. That’s what happened to the band Anna Maria.
Anna Maria was one of those bands that had the potential to really make it big.
First off, they looked good onstage. They also sounded great. They were making the right moves at the right times and gaining more & more people/followers and then just like that, in the blink of an eye… poof.
I’m gonna be honest, I’m very, very disappointed especially after hearing the reasons why they had to break up. It really sucks for all that hard work to just go down the drain.
It’s a good thing the remaining three, Grace, Farrah and Meghan have moved on to other things.
These three were the eye candy (and that’s not a bad thing). Just don’t let their looks fool you. They can rock harder than most guys care to admit. Grace and Meghan’s guitar duo is a showcase of what talent, determination and clean precision sound like. These two are machinegun-precise, locked together like Thor’s Warhammer bashing your head in. Farrah, is by far the only frontwoman I’ve seen who’s managed to capture the crowd’s attention without relying on her looks. That voice puts most male vocalists to shame.
Too Bad
Too bad, Anna Maria’s gone. Seems like these three don’t have a claim to the name which is a shame. It’s 3 against 2…
Heck, maybe we’ll see them again onstage, stronger, louder, faster with better members sharing the platform.
Tsk… their song kinda makes sense now. Heh.
Hello My friend… serpent… damn…
