Audiohub has always been one of our favorite rehearsal spaces—wide, welcoming, and perfect for both serious practice and TRASHBUNK’s usual chaos. We spent countless hours there writing songs and messing around. After all our visits since last year, we were surprised to learn that the owner who often assisted us is also the frontman of an emerging band: Blinking Amber.

A New Voice in the Davao Scene

Blinking Amber is a Nu-Gaze and Alternative Rock band from Davao City. The group formed through a shared love for heavy soundscapes, dreamy textures, and emotional storytelling. They gained attention fast because their music blends two worlds: the soft haze of Shoegaze and the raw impact of heavier rock.

Debut Single: “You There?”

The band is gearing up for a milestone moment with the release of their debut single “You There?”, dropping on the same night they join TRASHBUNK, Project Satellite other regional acts at YAKA Bar in Malaybalay, Bukidnon.

The timing couldn’t be more fitting—Blinking Amber’s sound thrives in intimate, dimly lit spaces where guitars bloom like distant memories and vocals drift through the air like a half-heard confession.

A Live Experience Worth Seeing

Blinking Amber shines even brighter on stage. Their live set hits like a moving wall of sound. Instead of relying only on volume, they build tension through contrast. Soft parts bloom into loud waves. Melodies hide under layers of noise. Each song rises and falls like a tide..

With their debut single and a strong direction, Blinking Amber is becoming one of Davao’s most promising new acts. Their mix of dream and aggression offers something fresh for listeners who want heartfelt noise with real weight behind it.
