TRASHBUNK is a Nu Metal/Grunge crossover band born from the underground pulse of Davao City’s heavy music scene. Inspired by the raw aggression of Limp Bizkit, the chaotic energy of System of a Down, and the grit of Soulfly, the band blends pounding riffs, groove-heavy rhythms, and grunge-like melodic hooks into a sound that’s both nostalgic and forward-thinking.
Formed in 2024, TRASHBUNK quickly built a reputation for high-energy performances, tongue-in-cheek charisma, and a willingness to experiment with genre fusion. Their music often reflects modern struggles, cultural decay, and the chaotic humor of everyday life.
In July 2025, TRASHBUNK recorded their debut single “Bait” at Purpose Recording Studio — a track that captures their signature balance between heavy groove and catchy grit. This release marks the beginning of their first EP project, set to showcase their range from aggressive anthems to atmospheric bangers.
Beyond music, TRASHBUNK is known for immersive visuals, DIY merch, and community-driven shows. They aim to push Davao’s alternative music forward while staying unapologetically true to their roots.
