Story:
Davao City. Indeed “Life is Here”. For my life was going to change ever since I got into the local music scene with our band “WRONG CHILDREN” in the bar “ZLEAF” or is now called “ZERO 82”.
My first experience with the local scene here already got me hooked and I fell in love with it so quickly.
There are countless of individuals in the scene who I have met that inspired me and have shaped me and my band to become better.
“USA KA BUNDAKAN” was the event that fueled my passion for the local scene thus here I am with the same great individuals in MUSIKA WABAD.
The darker the night, the brighter the stars.

Story: My journey began as a scene kid moshing in hardcore, metalcore, and deathcore gigs in the city. By featuring as vocals mostly by bands’ Jonah and Josephina led me to become the frontman of Remnants of Catacombs, a death metal band from Tagum City. Those experiences helped me understood how the local music scene works, which made me decide to become an organizer and established my own production together with Zyl Banzuelo (Khala) called Crimson Fog.
Our first event stood as a gateway for me to Musika Wabad by working closely with Alkhaliif Mukarram. Waving the Musika Wabad flagship in our midst of organizing events. Until came “Usa ka Bundakan”, a satellite event by various davao artists where Chip officially welcomed me to the family. Proud to be working with much love and respect to the team. Proud to be Musika Wabad.

“I started as an outcast because I’m not from Davao City. But everyone here is so welcoming and they accepted me like I’m a true-blooded Davaoeña. My love for the local music is actually the reason why i met my Musika Wabad Family. We started out as a team who wants to make the local scene ignites again. We always put our blood and sweat in everything that we do for everyone. During calamities like floods, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions even during pandemics like this, we always help. Because we are not just a team we are a family.”
Happiness is a choice.
