FOMO is real, guys. And I felt every single bit of it scrolling through my feed that night.

So okay… Grandchella.

If you were anywhere on social media last week and you’re from Davao (or anywhere in real estate circles around the Philippines), you probaly saw the photos.

The lights.

The outfits.

The awards.

The whole vibe.

It looked like someone took a Coachella festival, crossed it with a formal gala, and held it right here at the Grand Regal Hotel in Davao City.

Grand choice of venue (pun intended).

Grandchella is the annual awards gala of Grand Land Inc., a real estate developer that, according to their own website at grandlandinc.com, is “dedicated to transforming the urban landscape of key cities and provinces across the Philippines.”

Their tagline is “Elevating Lives. Enriching Communities.”

And from what I can tell… their party game is just as elevated as their properties.

The event is essentially their way of honoring the people who make Grand Land tick.

The salesforce.

The brokers.

The agents.

The Unit Managers and the REBs (Real Estate Brokers).

These are the people on the ground every single day pushing Grand Land projects, closing deals, meeting targets… and Grandchella is the night Grand Land says, officially and in front of everybody, thank you.

Actually, all of these properties I think I’ve looked at seriously as potential investments that my wife and I just haven’t really

What Happened at Grandchella 2026

Based on what attendees shared online… this was not your ordinary awards night. It was described as “a dazzling evening of food, drinks, and music” and people were posting about it like they’d just come back from a concert and a gala at the same time.

There were awards for top performers, recognition for realties and agents who crushed it in 2025, and even a Best Dressed award (female category).

Someone took home that Best Dressed trophy on their first ever Grandland event, which is kind of iconic. You show up once and you win a fashion award. Goals.

Awards & Recognition from Grandchella 2026

  • Filipino Homes bagged Top Realty for 2025
  • Top Agent of the Year 2025 was awarded to a standout individual performer
  • Promising Realty of the Year 2025 recognized a rising realty group
  • International Travel Qualified award for qualified high-achievers
  • Best Dressed (Female) award went to a first-time Grandchella attendee
  • All 2025 Awardees were honored for hard work across Grand Land projects

Look, I know it’s easy to scroll past posts like these and think it’s just another company party.

But events like Grandchella actually matter for Davao City in ways that go beyond the glam and the food and the awards.

Davao is growing fast… really fast. The real estate sector here is one of the most active in Mindanao, and events like this one celebrate the people who are driving that growth.

When brokers and agents are recognized publicly, it motivates the whole industry.

It sets a benchmark. It tells every salesperson in the room, and everyone watching at home on their phone, that excellence is noticed and rewarded.

That is important for a city like Davao that is positioning itself as a premier destination for investment, tourism, and modern living. Grand Land, through events like Grandchella, is putting Davao on the map not just as a place to build… but as a place that celebrates its own.

I really wish I could have attended this as part of the Davao Bloggers Society.

That’s the kind of event I’d love to cover and write about firsthand… the energy, the outfits, the speeches, the food.

But I wasn’t there. S’ok… I had to do daddy duties anyway… not to sound like I’m sourgraping.

Maybe next year I’ll get to go.
